Due to the increased social value commitment within our Construction business, we are now seeking aSocial Value Coordinator to join us!

About the Role

We are recruiting a Social Value Coordinator role to coordinate national and strategic activities, which empower our local social value experts to contribute to our ambitious social value & sustainability strategy. The role is varied, working with multiple functions in the business such as social value, procurement and business development, to support our vision and purpose and to improve what we do and how we do it.

About You

You must have a keen interest in contributing to solutions to social, economic and environmental inequity and degradation in the UK, possessing humility and enthusiasm, a proactive self-starter, who independently builds a network, conducts research and proposes new ideas.

Exceptional collaborative problem solving and diplomacy skills is required along with the ability to work in a team environment contributing across a project, site or area. Good management skills, with the ability to motivate self and colleagues to perform.

You must have good planning and time management skills; able to manage activities simultaneously without compromising on standards and quality with the ability to ensure standards and specifications are met. Also the ability to work with colleagues to contribute to project and operational performance, with a confidence in communicating in an appropriate style to a wide audience,

Attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture is key.
