Time Capsule embedded at Ysgol 3-19 Brenin Harri’r VIII / King Henry VIII 3-19 School

Working to create connections from the old School to the new School, this spring Morgan Sindall paired up with the pupils from Deri View Primary School to create a memorable ceremony to bury their Time Capsule in the grounds of the new Ysgol 3-19 Brenin Harri’r VIII / King Henry VIII 3-19 School Site.
The Year Five and Six pupils had created a time capsule filled with items that would inform future generations of what life was like in 2023 and a reminder of the current Deri View Primary School. They thoughtfully produced letters, artwork, handprints and stories to go along with other objects they had collected such as photos and exercise books.
This special event was joined by the Time Capsule Team, the Chair of Monmouthshire County Council, Cllr. Laura Wright, Cllr. Martyn Groucutt, Cabinet Member for Education, the Chair of Governors of King Henry VIII School, head teachers, the Morgan Sindall team, and special guests from Monmouthshire County Council.
