A letter to Westminster residents
As you are aware, we have been appointed by the University of Westminster to carry out the refurbishment and expansion works of 29 Marylebone Road. We are delighted to inform you that we will be starting work on 29 Marylebone Road on Monday 11th December 2023, works are currently planned to be completed in June 2025.
We anticipate there will be some disruption however we work hard to mitigate the impacts of our work on residents. We will keep you posted about all upcoming major works and will shortly set up a resident forum where you will all be invited to attend, this will likely be early 2024.
Our site hoarding and site set up will be installed to safely segregate our work from local residents, these works are due to start during week commencing 4th December 2023 and we have added a snippet below showing how this will look:
Please note that a traffic order is in place with Westminster Highways to stop any vehicle entering Luxborough Street from Marylebone Road, diversion signs will be set up to direct all vehicles (Including construction vehicles) to the south end of Luxborough Street. All vehicles will be able to exit Luxborough Street onto Marylebone Road.
We will display public information about the site on the hoardings for your reference. As a business, we are proud members of the Considerate Constructors Scheme, which has a Code of Considerate Practice designed to encourage best practices beyond statutory requirements.
I will be your dedicated community contact during the construction works at 29 Marylebone Road; should you have any questions or comments about the project, please feel free to contact me on the details below:
