A further 39.1 tonnes of carbon saved!
This week, the team took part in Morgan Sindall's second 10 tonne challenge of the year, hoping to reduce their carbon output even further.
The previous challenge saw them save a whopping 233 tonnes! Find out how the team did this here.
Here's what the team did this time round:
- Crushed existing material on site to remove the need for sourcing and transport of new stone for the project piling mat
- Used our CarboniCa tool to calculate the savings
- Equilvant to heating 14.5 homes annually
Total tonnes of carbon saved to date: 272.1 tonnes
Well done to the NNUH CDC team and their supply chain!
