January Progress Update

External cladding and brickwork has progressed in the period, with brickwork to the rear elevation now complete. We have now delivered and installed the prefabricated plantroom onto the roof and final connection to the site services are ongoing.  Roof finishes are nearing completion across all areas which is now allowing the internal works to progress at pace across the full building.  

Internally, all partitions are now erected, with final sections of mechanical & electrical works being installed to service the rooms.  Services are continuing in all areas and this has allowed us to commence ceiling installation to classroom areas.  Floor finish preparation has also commenced in the month, with vinyl flooring commencing in February.  Fitted furniture to the classrooms will also commence in February and this will then allow classroom spaces to be brought to a finish.  

On the lower ground section of the games hall, we are completing all finishes and services works above the swimming pool, which will then allow our temporary access scaffold to be removed.  

Externally, car park construction is progressing to the south of the site. The primary school playground will be constructed throughout March and April.
