Back-to-school site visit

The Maybole Community Campus project team were delighted to welcome pupils and staff from Cairn Primary School, Gardenrose Primary School, and St Cuthbert’s Primary School for a site tour and question and answer session. The school pupils attended the site visits in small groups over a 6-day period. They were welcomed by our Senior Project Manager, David Gray, and Site Manager, Victoria Proven, before being kitted out in PPE and walked to the perimeter of the site for an in-depth discussion around their new school building. Following the tour, the pupils and staff were welcomed back into the site office, where they were delivered a presentation on the project and taking part in a question-and-answer session – grilling David and the team! A total of 200 pupils and 10 staff members attended over the 6 days, and the site team hope to have inspired some future budding construction stars.
