HERE'S THE LATEST PROJECT UPDATE
Site activities:
We have had a very good month in terms of progress on site. The foundations to both pools have now been completed and we have started to form the base of the main pool with insulation being installed in readiness for the steel reinforcement to be place on top. We have now installed over half the building foundations which will form the base for the steel structure. We have also progressed the installation of the underground drainage both to the external areas and below the building slab.
Community engagement:
Norma assisted with a STEM tower building session at Academy of Central Beds on the 18th Apr & Bipin carried out a presentation at the Chiltern School on 3rd May. A site visit is being planned for plumbing and electrical students from Central Beds College.
Great local causes have been selected to benefit from the Morgan Sindall “Neighbourhood Week”, more information on this will be available on our microsite soon.
Upcoming work in May:
In the next month, we will start to construct the concrete pool structures and complete the foundations. We will also commence works to the sub structure walls which entail sections of blockwork and concrete walls. The preparation for pouring to the ground floor slabs will also commence upon the completion of the under-slab drainage and service installation.
