May update
The site team have collated some progress images from some of the latest activity that has taken place on the Great Yarmouth Learning Hub project over the past month.

Site activities:
Basement
- Tanking now complete and ceilings have been boarded an painted.
Ground Floor
- More rooms are being constructed across the ground floor with external wall linings now being put into place.
- M&E services continue to develop across the ground floor with builders work openings now being formed to allow services to cross between rooms / floors.
- Demolition in a small area of the ground floor is now complete where the site team had discovered rotten timbers supporting part of the floor.
- External windows are nearly complete with most frames and glazing now in place.
- Sample room continues to make good progress with a suspended grid ceiling being installed along with skirting board.
First Floor
- Atrium has been painted in its original colours and timber refurbishments are underway to the externals.
- First fix plumbing has commenced in the unisex toilets.
- Most rooms have now received a mist and first coat of paint.
Second & Third Floor
- Ceiling across the second and third floor have now been painted and are ready for first fix M&E to commence.
- Internal walls are being constructed, forming the new layout of the building.
- A small part of the second and third floor has been demolished due to structural issues.
Roof
- Tiling across most roofs is now nearing completion.
- Flat roofs are making good progress with many areas of roof now mineral felted.
- Stonecutters roof is now complete.
