Welcome to the project page for the Freemantles Specialist School Expansion, which is being built by Morgan Sindall Construction.

Freemantles School, is a School for children with Complex Social communication Needs located within Woking, Surrey.
Morgan Sindall Construction will be responsible for the construction of a new school for Freemantles. The new building will provide new teaching and learning environments for the students including creative arts, common room & a Gym. Along with these new internal spaces a large car park will be installed including EV charging points.
Making a positive difference in the communities we work is a vital part of our responsible business plan. Our Community Investment Group supports our project teams in the delivery of local community engagement projects. The Freemantles team is part of the wider London & Home Counties business unit, which operates out of four regional offices, the Brighton Office being associated with this project.

Freemantles SEN project team achieve 45/45 in their most recent Considerate Constructors Scheme visit!

As the project lead, I’ll be working closely with site management, commercial teams and consultants to ensure we deliver on time, within budget and achieve exceptional health, safety & quality standards whilst ensuring minimum impact on the local community.
CloseI will be responsible for managing all commercial aspects of the project, this will include reporting to the client on change control, cash flow and budget to aid in managing financial targets. I will also oversee all subcontract order placement and package management.
CloseAs part of the operational team, I’m responsible for coordinating the close management of subcontractors to ensure we progress smoothly against programme goals, delivering maximum quality throughout the build; all whilst minimising any impact the project may have on the community.

CloseThroughout the project I’ll be supporting the operations team, working closely with the supply chain ensuring the project is delivered safely and to a high quality.
CloseHaving worked on the project from pre-construction phase, I’ll carefully manage the design elements, coordinating the designers to develop the project details in line with the end user’s needs.
CloseAs Morgan Sindall’s SHE adviser, I will be working closely with the site team and subcontractors to promote a positive health and safety culture within the workplace. As a team we’ll ensure that all workers comply with safety legislation and that safety policies and practices are adopted and adhered to.
