Cosham Fire Station project team support City of Portsmouth College students with work experience
Welcome to the project page for the Cosham Fire Station project, which is being built by Morgan Sindall Construction.
Here you can read about the project and its positive effect on the community, and track progress as it happens.
Cosham Fire Station, is the new facility for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service (HIWFRS), located on Northern Road, Cosham, Portsmouth, Hampshire.
The project is one of a wider station investment programme for HIWFRS, the others being located in Bishop’s Waltham and the new live fire training facility at their headquarters in Eastleigh. This will help meet modern demands on the service catering for larger vehicles and increased training requirements.
Making a positive difference in the communities we work is a vital part of our responsible business plan. Our Community Investment Group supports our project teams in the delivery of local community engagement projects. The South team is part of the wider Morgan Sindall Construction business, which operates out of 21 regional offices, the South Hub, based in Chandlers Ford being associated with this project.
Susan Dee, is the dedicated community contact for the Cosham Fire Station project and will maintain communications with neighbours and the surrounding community. If you have any questions, please do get in touch with Susan via the contact form at the bottom of the page with any queries regarding the project.
As a business we are proud members of the Considerate Constructors Scheme, which has a Code of Considerate Practice designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements.
This page will provide a snapshot of activities we have been undertaking in the local community.
